Portraits
Klyczek Nordstrom was trained as a portrait painter over 20 years ago. She currently accepts portrait commissions in graphite and charcoal drawings, oil and acrylic paintings.

What is a portrait commission?
A portrait commission is a painting drawing or sculpture of an individual(s) (an artist created) at the request of a client(s).
The subject may be living or deceased. The portrait is created from photographs supplied by the client or the artist may take photos of the subject(s).

How do I commission a portrait?
The artist and client agree on a subject(s) using existing photos or decide the artist will take photos of the subject(s). A
schedule is created for photography, preliminary sketches for client approval and final portrait completion date. The artist
and client agree on payment and payment schedule.

How much time should I allow for a portrait?
Allow a minimum 6 weeks for completion. Klyczek Nordstrom is available to assist the client in frame selection.
